I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. My proficiency accounts in web services, WSDL, SOAP, Java/J2EE, JMS. My web developing experience includes a project in which I created an e- commerce site for a business house using Java Script.  Apart from this i carried out the responsibilities like Database Design, Updating System and the Web Server, Web Applications Development.

My supervisory skills were demonstrated in my last job by training, mentoring, and evaluating 3 administrative support employees, which resulted in a decrease in staff turnover. My experience with command and control (C2) communications systems is considerable and also i am familiar with enterprise integration patterns apart from the basic requirements.

I have working knowledge of XML, XSLT, DTDs, XML schemas, etc. and  of web graphics. My communication skills have evolved over the time and i am comfortable with english and spanish.

I am writing to you to apply for the position of a web designer in your company ABC Ltd.  This letter will provide you with a brief history of my educational background and my professional achievements.

I have a background in graphic design along with college courses in computer science. Also i am comfortable with HTML I am trained in computer graphics packages such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Paint Shop Pro as well as knowledge of Flash, XML-based web applications and programming, XHTML programming, and other web development languages and technologies.

During my 5 year experience with PQR Ltd, i undertook the following responsibilities in the organization:

• Creation of varied design prototypes
• Created visual concepts for the content and ensured that the sites were easy to navigate.
• Build websites using technologies that conform to international standards and make sure that they are universally accessible.

Throughout i was responsible for maintaining and updating the websites and took charge of the overall development of the web communication group. I have experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and an extensive experience working on a Mac platform. I understand the importance of customer-service orientation and hold creativity in problem-solving. I have ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way to provide training to staff and faculty. Also i keep tune with current web-design trends and techniques.
